You upload your product list, the export from your inventory system or your Excel file, and map the columns once. We create one product passport with a QR code for every row, keep it accessible for 10 years and register it in the EU registry as soon as the Commission opens your product group there. The basis is the Ecodesign Regulation (EU) 2024/1781, the passport is known as the Digital Product Passport (DPP).
No establishment in the EU? Then you need an authorised representative
Manufacturers without an establishment in the EU need an economic operator inside the EU who takes on the obligations and is reachable for market surveillance authorities. We take on that role in addition to creating and hosting the passport, under a separate agreement. Talk to us before you order.
What your customer sees when scanning the QR code
A page with the details of this exact product: manufacturer, materials, repair and disposal, declaration of conformity. The address behind it is unique and never changes.
- If details change, we change the page. The QR code on the product stays the same.
- The page must be reachable at all times, years after the sale as well.
- It must stay accessible even if the manufacturer no longer exists.
- Authorities, repair shops and recyclers use the same address as your customers.
We keep that page reachable for 10 years from publication, even if the contract ends earlier.

Pricing
During the term, changes to existing passports, data maintenance and new passports within the quota are included. After the contract ends, every created passport stays reachable for 10 years but is no longer updated.
* As soon as the Commission opens your product group in the registry, we enter your passports, at no extra charge and with nothing to do on your side. The Commission does not charge a fee for registry access so far. Should it introduce one, we pass it on to you unchanged.
Term 12 months from the order, renewable annually. All prices exclude VAT, with a valid EU VAT ID the reverse charge procedure applies. Payment by credit card, PayPal or bank transfer. Offered to businesses only.

For batteries the date is fixed. For the other groups the Commission work plan names the year of the legal act, the obligation applies at least 18 months later.

Frequently asked questions
Does this apply to small companies as well?
Yes. The Ecodesign Regulation contains no general exemption for small companies, there is no minimum quantity and no minimum turnover.
What happens if a product has no product passport?
Under Art. 9 of the regulation, a product covered by the obligation must not be placed on the market without an available passport. It loses market access, and customs checks the registration identifier on import.
Do I have to reprint when product data changes?
No. You upload your updated table, we change the affected passport pages. The address and the QR code on the product stay the same. Changes are included in the fee.
